Annemijn Dobbelaer (she/her)My position: Chair
E-mail: [email protected] Nationality: Dutch Graduating year: 2025 Major: Law & Psychology What do I do? I am the Chair of the UCSA, which means that I have a general overview of our board and keep track of our long term goals. Besides this, I chair the meetings, make the agendas and I represent our board in various settings. Most importantly, though, I make sure that everyone on the board is doing well and that we foster a cooperative working environment. What do I like? Outside of being on the UCSA Board, I love taking dance classes, going out and hanging out with friends. I grew up in Utrecht so I also love going to my standard cafes and bars or going home to see my dog :) Favourite memory of UCU? There are too many to choose from. I think the 2024 Fall Introweek I got to organise with the Board is one of the most special things I got to do and it was so much fun. Another classic is the dance shows that happen every semester, which are always highlights of my year! |
Marie-Louise van der Meulen (she/her)My position: Secretary
E-mail: [email protected] Nationality: Dutch Graduating year: 2025 Major: Politics & Anthropology Minor: History What do I do?As secretary I oversee the n on-financial internal organisation and functioning of the association. This includes taking minutes of our meetings, ensuring that our planning is up to date, taking care of the drive and.overseeing the communication platforms! As secretary I am mostly busy with keeping things organised ;) Besides that I am overseeing some portfolios such as the Fashion Design Team, Prom Team and the Safety officer portfolio! What do I like? Outside of UCSA I like to stay pretty active by exploring Utrecht with SPIN (the Utrecht boardsports association) as well as performing with Super Sticky Surfaces! Furthermore I enjoy going for runs, cooking with friends, my letterboxd account ;), reading and dancing/going out with friends! Favourite memory of UCU? It’s hard to pick a favorite memory of UCU but I think organizing the Fashion Show last year is definitely up there! As well as spontaneous late night Kromme rijn swims, introweek, or just a fun night with friends :). |
Annalisa Schipper (she/her)My position: Treasurer
E-mail: [email protected] Nationality: Dutch Graduating year: 2025 Major: Politics & Biology What do I do? As treasurer, I am in charge of the UCSA’s finances. This entails keeping track of them through financial administration, reimbursing committees for their expenses and overall, paying and invoicing for the association’s events and needs. Besides treasuring, I am in charge of this Website together with Renske, the Fund Updates, organising the UCSA Christmas Dinner, Golden Keys, and the Beach Party, and keeping in contact with the UCSA’s sponsors. I am also the UCSA’s Privacy and Alumni Officer and contact person for Enactus. What do I like? When I am not spending my time on UCSA or academics, I love to read, hang out with friends, and play sports. I am also always down for a drink in the sun on a terrace and a good party! I also love to draw, but can never find enough time to do it. I am also very much one to chill and watch a good, or not so good movie. Favourite memory of UCU? I think my favourite memories of UCU are the Introweek that I parented. So many fun, impromptu things happened and we all just rolled with it and tried to have as much delirious fun as we could. For example, after the City Tour we stayed in the tunnel and walked into the karaoke bar and just did karaoke :D |
Renske de Haas (she/her)Position: Committee Affairs Officer
E-mail: [email protected] Nationality: Dutch Graduating year: 2025 Major: Cognitive Neuroscience & Psychology What do I do? As a Committee Affairs Officer I oversee 13 committees, like BarCo, RunCo, and ArtsCo. Next to my CAO tasks, I am both sustainability and safety officer, I am UCU's Social Committee Representative for the UCSRN, I organize a few events, but most importantly, I made this website. What do I like? I am a very active person. I dance, go to kickboxing classes on Mondays, run every once in a while, and I am the captain of the women's football team. On Thursdays, you'll most likely see me in the bar. I also love to go thrifting and play the NYT/LinkedIn games on my phone. Favourite memory of UCU? My favorite memory of UCU is definitely one of de dance shows. UCU is where I discovered my love for dancing. I went from trying out Confidence in Sneakers in my first semester to dancing 5 dances in the last show! The dance shows are always such fun and exciting nights. I will miss them when I leave UCU. |
Tijn de Vreeze (he/him)Position: Committee Affairs Officer
E-mail: [email protected] Nationality: Dutch Graduating year: 2026 Major: Chemistry & Math Minors: Philosophy & Politics What do I do? As a Committee Affairs Officer, I oversee 14 committees, such as Hermes, DanceCo, and MusicCo. Apart from these position-specific tasks, I am part of the Wellbeing Platform, as well as the Gala Team and Yearbook Content Team. What do I like? Outside of the UCSA, I like to spent my time with friends, playing card or board games, or having fun discussions about anything and everything (preferably philosophy). I try to spent a good amount of time playing football and exercising, as well as playing chess. The one thing I love spending time on most, however, is music; listening to it, but also performing songs with a band (or sometimes solo). Favourite memory of UCU? It's hard to pick one single favorite memory of UCU, since the wonderful thing about it is living so close with all of your best friends and experiencing academic and social life together. But if I had to, I think it would be either the Valentunes Open Mic in 2024, where I got to perform a few amazing lovesongs in the (completely filled) UCSA Bar in front of many of my best friends, or a later Open Mic, where I had the opportunity to perform Father&Friend with my dad. However, once again, there's too many beautiful moments to name! |

On Thursdays, you can also find me working at the UCU Reception, and afterward hanging out at the UCSA bar. Favourite memory of UCU?
