Our Statutes lay out the founding principles of the Association and the legal basis for our operations. It details our stated purpose, our different types of membership options, defines the General Assembly, the Financial Year, the voting system, etc.

Our Policy Manual is subsidiary to our Statutes and develops on our way of functioning in more specific, practical ways. For example, it lists the functioning/hierarchy of the Bar, the complaint procedure, describes the positions within the UCSA Board, committees and teams, the Independent Body, etc.

Funds and Proposal Forms
As a Committee or an individual, you can apply to different types of funds to finance an event:
- use the Collaboration Fund for any collaboration between two or more committees or teams.
- use the Cultural Events Fund for a cultural event, e.g. a cultural celebration or commemoration.
- use the Lecture Fund when organising lectures or panel talks.
- use the New Initiatives Fund for new ideas that have never been tried out before.
- use the Weekend Events Fund for events happening on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
- use the Sustainability Fund for events that advance sustainability goals.
